BlackBerry Curve 8520 Unlocked Phone. I gave it a four because when I first got it, it took me time to see and get used to the keys because they are kind-of small. If you want bigger buttons get 8330, my sister has one, wish I could switch with hers, but mine is newer and no tracking ball, which I really like to.. about this phone. Its sleek and easy to navigate..Before I had this one I had the 8120, ah--big difference the charge on 8520 last longer and takes a little time to charge up, but its worth it. Also, the keys I wished lighted up a bit brighter, BUT like I said once you have it after a few days you get used to it. My one problem with as I am thinking off the top of my head ..is there are not enough apps to go with or themes made for this model.

I am a geek for that, but as of now I have been able to download a few off my blackberry 8120 to my 8520. Also, checking around i was able to get a few more themes, that are just awesome. The 2gb memory card that comes with it I took out and put in my 4gb from my 8120 in it. I read somewhere it can go to 16gb and pretty soon it will go 34gb...its in the works now.
I will say the quality in web browsing is GREAT and I have had no problems with dropped calls, lost signal, or getting frustrated with where are the keys for texting; all the numbers are on the left side..feels weird but after a day or so, it works better than my other blkberry which was the 8120.

Also there's a dictionary to while your texting, a firewall..it is just way better than I expected. If I go all over, I apologize, I am giving you want I can tell you about this product as I'm writing I'm having a flashback...lol.
Now if your a geek like me with apps, there aren't that many games for this Rim..I am waiting for new apps to become more available for my phone for some reason, 8320 has the most..kind-of peeves me at times, wen I am looking around as to adding to my phone but..this phone is pretty easy compared to my 8120. If you want to know anything else, ask..I will answer.

The 8520 phone actually works well on at&t! no matter how much you learn the iphone keyboard, a blackberry full physical qwerty still wins, hands down. the spell checker and predictive type on bberry is better vs iphone and with the physical keyboard you misspell a lot less. since you can sync your itunes on here you only "miss" the iphone for its apps which really only work best on wifi. 8520 is lightweight, fairly thin, very light, has nicely spaced keys, and really cool media controls blended into the top of the device. nice use of rubber here on the device too lends some durability to glossy plastic finish.

Blackberry Storm 2 9550 Unlocked pretty good phone

The Storm 2 is a pretty good phone, After experiencing problems with the original Blackberry Storm, Verizon eventually upgraded me to the Storm 2. I have to say that, for the most part, I have been satisfied with this phone. The touchscreen keyboard is only functional for me when it is in the wider landscape mode. When I try to type in the portrait mode, my fingers cannot hit the correct keys simply from the standpoint of spacing. The keys are just too close together. The one issue I experience consistently is when I try to hit the "a" button I instead get a "q" which I do find frustrating. From the standpoint of overall ease of use, this phone is pretty simple to operate. A good number of apps are available including internet based radio from Slacker, Pandora, and i-Heart radio. You can use an aux cable to connect the phone to your car's radio and play these stations through your sound system. The calendar function, contacts, and e-mail all work extremely well on this phone. Occasionally, the phone does freeze which requires a soft reset by removing the battery. For whatever reason, these issues seem to have been minimized over the past six months or so. After a somewhat rough start with the Storm line of phones, I would now have to say that I do enjoy the Storm 2. 

As a PDA (personal digital assistant), you like that you can store files and documents, access spreadsheets and work on these same spreadsheets as well. It holds a vast volume of contacts. Games and movies can be played on this particular PDA. Instant access to the internet is convenient and easy to use for someone always on the go. You can set up instant messaging on your phone, which is great for quick communication, and can sometimes be better and faster than texting. You can set up several personal email accounts on your phone and receive your emails through your phone, rather than having to access the internet constantly. The touch screen makes it easy to use, but sometimes difficult, because the touch screen features have a tendency to freeze up and letters and tabs are sometimes close together. RIM (research in motion) is constantly looking for smarter and faster technology. Picture quality is fairly good and takes good pictures; zooming in and out is easy to use. The video quality is fairly good. Internal storage is good, and the external storage can be upgraded to 16 gigabytes, maybe more. You can set up to have your PDA do visual voicemails, which means you no longer have to call in to your server to access them. And you can also set up voice commands. Overall, this phone is a good PDA to have. 

I've been using an iphone then a Blackberry 8520, so :

PROS : 

• it came with 16GB micro sd card from blue electronics. thats great!
• camera photos and video quality. 
• BB software stuffs: messengers, browsers, etc.

CONS :

• would be hard to write on the touchscreen virtual keyboard if you've ever used a normal qwerty keyboard. In general, iphone touchscreen much better than 9550 touchscreen.
• when you click something you really need to click it pressing down the screen like a button, that's weird. its the first touchscreen that really meant the click action. 
• this smartphone has 3G SINGLE BAND 2100.... too bad

BlackBerry 9800 Torch Phone Full QWERTY Keyboard and Slider. I have had the pleasure of using a Blackberry device since the first Blackberry was launched. As a long time Blackberry user, I have found that I simply cannot get away from their product, nor do I want to. For a short period I had an iPhone but I could not get used to the keyboard. Every time I needed to write a long email I wanted to hit it with a hammer.

Blackberry is simply the best for a business person or someone who needs to be typing on it all day. The keyboard on the Torch took a day to get used to vs the Curve but that was it. Here are a couple things I like about the Torch:

1. Actual keyboard for those long e-mails.
2. On screen keyboard for those quick texts or silent typing
3. Calendar - always simple, just start typing by the time of day and you're done.
4. Better camera (Not iPhone 4 good, but good)

There are many other additions to the Torch, but the simple fact is its a work horse phone plain and simple. If you want games and such, grab a new iPod. I still have my iPhone and will use it for messing around but I will always go to a Blackberry for work. Blackberry means business and iPhone and Android are there for wasting time (Not all apps of course are time wasters, but who can resist when you have Angry Birds just one click away?)

This phone works flawlessly. The touch screen is easy to use and not overly sensitive. The browser is great. There are many things BlackBerry does so much better than anyone else such as contact management and instant message management, in my opinion. Push email is awesome. I've had BlackBerries and HTC and BlackBerry wins hands down. I have friends with iPhones and while their phone is dead until they get to a place to recharge it all I have to do is pop the battery out and put a fresh one in and I'm still going. Being able to replace the battery on the fly is very important when I am out hiking or camping. One possible drawback to this particular phone is the OS6. It is excellent in and of itself but my carrier doesn't support it and I was unable to get service books for the browser to work. Check with your carrier to see if the phone is compatible and if the OS is compatible. If not, a quick stop at Crackberry.com gave me the fix for that and now it works perfectly.
