Sony Ericsson Naite J105 GSM Eco Phone

Sony Ericsson Naite J105 GSM Eco Phone
Sony Ericsson Naite J105 GSM Eco Phone. I was looking for a straight forward unlocked phone to go with my AT&T account. I don't use the internet on my phone although the internet/facebook connectivity on the phone seems reasonable. So far I like this phone and would buy it again. The charger is an European charger with a American adapter. Would also recommend buying a car charger when purchasing the phone. The phone can connect to your computer with Bluetooth- so a USB cable is not required. I switched SIM cards in my house with has poor reception and the phone said "emergency calls only" but then when went to an area with better reception the phone worked fine.

As long as you have a data plan, you'll have everything that you need in this phone: SMS, MMS, E-Mail, Social Networks accounts, etc. It has a nice and easy to use interface. The price is great for all the features that you'll get. The Naite has everything you would want on a phone except a keyboard and touchscreen. It's eco friendly and stylish. Good- Battery life much better then previous phone (Blackberry Pearl- it also doesn't turn itself on like the Pearl), 2MP camera takes nice photos, appears energy efficient, FM radio is nice

All of the communication features you need in a timeless phone. Enjoy conversational texting, email and the integrated Facebook application – or simply make a call. The Naite phone also helps keep life simple with one-click access to the tools you use most - messages, contacts, camera, calendar and Google search. Entertainment seekers will be pleased with the integrated camera, music player, FM radio, Bluetooth stereo and the Media Go software for transferring media files.

what i like so far :
- bright, clear screen
- loud, clear speakerphone (typical of S-E phones)
- intuitive controls

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Unlocked GSM Smartphone

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Unlocked GSM Smartphone
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is Excellent phone. Cover my expectative. Android is an excellent system. The only problem is the version of the system. this phone has a lot of amazing features, such as timescape, mediascape and few other apps that SE has designed for ANDROID.  My biggest problem is battery life. I spend a lot of time on the streets between appointments, and i find myself trying to recharge the phone by 2-3pm same day, and in car charger is horrible, charges very slow.
Sony Ericsson today unveiled the highly-expected XPERIA X10 Unlocked Android-based smartphone with the new UX interface platform, a Wireless Stereo Headset and a pretty neat set of features. Contrary to the rumors that spoiled this announcement, the XPERIA X10 will be running Android Donut (version 1.6) and not Éclair (version 2.0). The long list of features include a huge 262k color 4-inch WVGA (480 x 854 pixels) TFT touchscreen, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250, 1GB of internal memory, microSD card slot and an 8GB card included with the device. The camera on the X10 has 8.1 megapixels and it packs 16x digital zoom, autofocus, face recognition, geo tagging, image/video stabilizer and light, touch focus and video recording. Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, Micro USB, stereo Bluetooth with A2DP, USB, WiFi, A-GPS, Media Player, auto rotate and gesture control.

Why Sony Ericcson launch this phone with 1.6 Android OS in instead of 2.2?
  1. The real phone model is x10i (which I guest i stand for "international" version)
  2. After received, I install Sony Erricson PC Companion Software which will allow me to upgrade to Android 2.1 update 1
  3. Phone look nice, compact (compare to other phone same class); however the back cover made of plastic, which makes it look cheap!!!.
  4. Screen protector also included (even x10i screen is anti-scratch)
  5. Phone works as I expected, pretty big screen, vivid color. 8.1M camera with smile detection, and other features seem nice to have.
  6. Take me a while to familiar with phone behavior, but once I get used to it, I like it.
  7. Virtual keyboard is nice in landscape mode, but difficult to use in portrait mode.
  8. If turn on WiFi, battery will be drained for a day, (but the same for Droid 2, Droid X). Turn off Wifi, it may last for 2 days. Set screen brightness to lowest level may extent more, and you can adjust its brightness by using widgets short cut.
  9. So far, I will happy with this phone!
  10. Without warranty, it might be potential problem!!!

Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY Android Smartphone

Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY Android Smartphone
Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY Android Smartphone. I've fiddled around with this phone before and it is great. Its surprisingly strong and durable. The UI is smooth little bugs here and there but nothing patches couldn't fix up. There's plenty SE can do to build on top of this, personally, I'd recommend holding off on this device because I'm more than sure there will be a successor to this device soon with upgraded hardware. Because that's all it really needs is a faster CPU, more internal storage, a stronger camera (front and back), and some more RAM wont hurt at all. Otherwise this is a great first go at our (the gamers) dream of a gaming smartphone that can compete with other smart phones to make it worth a 2 year contract. But, that's all I'd buy this phone with is for a contract or retail price that is a lot lower than this. I'm sorry but NO phone on the market is worth 750 bucks. Not even more than 550. Remember, this is a phone, not a laptop. But if you've got 750 bucks to blow off then sure I would get this phone. But i don't, so I'll wait for the successor. :-) thanks SE for at least making the PSP phone a reality!

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 GSM Smartphone with Android OS, Wi-Fi and gps navigation--International Version
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 GSM Smartphone with Android OS, Wi-Fi and gps navigation--International Version. Screen has amazing quality, Sound is a bit weak in calls but 100x better than my last phone. Came pre-updated with Android 2.1 With Android 2.1 the battery life has been enhanced, but I still have to charge it daily and not use all the apps as consistent as I would like to. Searching for a smartphone but you don't want an Iphone or Blackberry? Look no more. Here is a great product! After my nightmare with a defective MOTO Backflip, The Sony Experia X10 is truly an amazing device and is the rival to the iPhone/blackberry. For my needs it's perfect. Great sound and video. Pictures are amazing at 8mp. Sure the battery life can be better but most devices are this way especially if you are a heavy user. Note: AT&T has a great deal on these phones. Droid phones R HOT!
